sore nipples & breasts

Ok I just wanted to know what this could be. My DD is 12 1/2 months old and so
far so good with nursing. She still nurses 4 or 5 times a day, but dosnt like
to nurse on one side anymore it seems,and the other nipple is sore and painful
although I am sure it isnt thrush and now both my breast feel sore. What could
this be? any ideas? Moni and Xyla

My first thought is, "Are you pregnant?" And my second, "Is this
premenstrual soreness?"

Oh man , I hadnt thought of actually being pregnant. Although since it took 6
1/2 years to get my DD, I could hardly beleive anything could be that easy.
I dont think it could be premenstruel soreness since it has been going on for
a couple of weeks now. Heres to wishing for pregnancy.. Ill try not to get my
hopes up. Moni

Well like I thought it isnt pregnancy , AF visited today. you think it is
possible that it is premenstrual soreness even though I have been sore for
several weeks? I am so lost on what it could be. Thanks Moni

Barbara, Thanks for your reply , I cant imagin nursing two , you are tuff!
DD is getting more teeth and I have noticed areas that are sore where her
teeth rest but it really seems her positioning is ok. Maybe I am wrong but
would that make my whole breast sore? Thanks again Moni
