A bench warrant was issued Wednesday for a 19-year-old man wanted on
charges of having sex with a woman in public.

XXX, of the XXXX, was supposed to appear Wednesday before Northampton
County Judge Anthony S. Beltrami for a bail revocation hearing but
never showed up.

He was charged with one count of open lewdness for allegedly having
sex with [woman, name removed] behind the Valley Ambulance building in
the first block of North Sixth Street about 4:40 p.m. May 16.
[The woman], 24, pleaded guilty Aug. 20 to one count of open lewdness
and was sentenced by county President Judge Robert A. Freedberg to one
year of probation.

[The woman], who has four children, has prior convictions for theft
and prostitution. She has been in Northampton County Prison since July
19 for failing to pay child support.

In general, prostitution is ALWAYS and ONLY legal so long as the prostitute
bears a child resulting from the sex act, she has such sex act filmed. or
she is paid with goods and/or services in lieu of money. Go
figure............
