Attn: Mrs. Margaret Coats British General Chiropractic Council/GCC Chief
Executive

Mrs. Coats, would you distribute this email in Europe? Think PREVENTION!
Thanks.

CHIRO WELLNESS:

PREGNANT? STOP SUBLUXATIONS BEFORE THEY START!

OBs are closing birth canals up to 30% and wrenching most babies spines.

It is easy to allow your birth canal to OPEN the "extra" up to 30%.

See the Four OB Lies below.

DR. RONDBERG SAYS...

WCA President Terry Rondberg, DC says:

"[T]ry to discover and correct the *cause* of the
subluxations...The[y]...may have started at birth...

"[A]nything that prevents...[vertebral subluxations]...is rightfully within
the sphere of chiropractic..."

From Rondberg T. Stopping subluxations before they start. The Chiropractic
Journal. 2005(Jan):front page
http://www.worldchiropracticalliance...2005/jan/b.htm (Dr. Rondberg's
word *cause* was
italicized in original)

WCA = World Chiropractic Alliance

OPEN LETTER (archived for global access; see below)

Terry Rondberg, DC
President
Board of Directors
World Chiropractic Alliance/WCA

Terry,

A man calling himself Michael J. Schroeder, attorney for the California
Board of Chiropractic Examiners told me years ago that it was not within my
scope of practice to advise pregnant women that OBs are closing birth canals
up to 30%, etc.

I let my license go and and have devoted much of my life to advising
pregnant
women that OBs are closing birth canals.

I would like to see the chiropractic associations join me now in my public
protest.

I am hoping that the American Chiropractic Association/ACA will lead the way
(see my Open Letter to J. Michael Menke, DC below).

If ACA remains silent, I hope WCA will take the lead.

Sincerely,

Todd

Dr. Gastaldo

PS1 It is interesting to note that British obstetrician Jason Gardosi, MD
did a "randomised controlled trial of squatting" - where nobody squatted...

I mention British obstetrician Gardosi because BARRY J LEWIS, DC, president
of the British
Chiropractic Association (BCA) and a member of the World Federation of
Chiropractic (WFC) wrote to you:

"Please go away [Dr. Rondberg] and mind your own damned business -- the WCA
has no role to
play in European chiropractic..."
http://www.worldchiropracticalliance...2005/jan/g.htm

Hopefully, WCA's British members will look into British obstetrician
Gardosi's bizarre "randomised controlled trial of squatting" - and the fact
that the West robs its children of the fundamental human rest posture called
squatting. (More about this below.)

Hopefully, the BCA and WFC will work with WCA to stop the gruesome medical
spinal manipulation which occurs with OBs closing birth canals the "extra"
up to 30%...

OBs knowingly closing birth canals the "extra" up to 30% is a HUGE medical
malpractice issue.

I mention this because, coincidentally the above email
from Dr. Lewis was reportedly generated by a malpractice issue in Ireland...

Hagan McQuaid, DC, president
of the Chiropractic Association of Ireland complained to the British General
Chiropractic Council/GCC that many (all?) DCs in Ireland recently lost their
malpractice liability insurance coverage, perhaps as a consequence of GCC
"disciplinary proceedings and prosecutions"...

Of course, all OBs who close birth canals at birth lose their malpractice
liability insurance until they stop their grisly obstetric tomfoolery...

Dr. McQuaid of Ireland said when he cc'd WCA:

"...this email is being cc'ed to the executives of national professional
associations Europe wide, the ECU and the three leading chiropractic
associations worldwide, the WFC, WCA and ICA....

Dr. Lewis castigated Dr. McQuaid for cc'ing WCA...

"Dear Hagan...you have widened your mailing list beyond acceptability by
including addresses outside ECU & WFC..."

In response to Dr. Lewis, you listed accomplishments of the World
Chiropractic Alliance/WCA...

* WCA is the only chiropractic organization to be accredited as an NGO
(non-governmental organization) by the UN Department of Public Information.

* WCA gave the first presentation on chiropractic at the International NGO
Conference in Seoul, Korea.

* WCA gave the first presentation on chiropractic at UN Headquarters.

* WCA established working relations with WHO in Geneva.

* WCA was had the first chiropractor chair the NGO Health Committee.

* WCA has and will continue to work with DCs in other countries, most
recently Italy, Israel, and Ireland, regarding licensure issues.

* WCA has prepared a document on chiropractic laws worldwide for WHO, which
has been sent to DCs in other countries.

* WCA is involved in the ongoing development of a model international
chiropractic law.
http://www.worldchiropracticalliance...2005/jan/g.htm

Terry, I'm hoping WCA will use it's obvious international influence to stop
OBs from closing birth canals the "extra" up to 30% - even (and especially)
in countries where there are not yet doctors of chiropractic to gently
adjust babies after birth to correct vertebral subluxations caused by
OB-inflicted birth trauma.

PS2 CHIROPRACTIC WELLNESS

Terry, I was SO pleased to see you write about birth and PREVENTION of
vertebral subluxations. See above.

I think J. Michael Menke, DC might have been referring to you and WCA when
he recently wrote of chiros who "make wellness only a spinal thing..."

Wellness is a HUGE "spinal thing" with OBs closing birth canals!

Anyway here is my reply to Dr. Menke...

THE OBSTETRICIANS' GRUESOME "SPINAL THING" (OBs practice BAD chiropractic)

See the postscript.

J. Michael Menke, DC writes:

"[i]f chiropractors make wellness only a spinal thing, the stakes...will be
extremely high...Making wellness a sales gimmick [for chiropractic's spinal
thing] will only destroy it."^^^
http://www.chiroweb.com/columnist/menke/index.html

OPEN LETTER (archived for global access; see below)

J. Michael Menke, DC

Michael.

Neither wellness nor chiropractic's "spinal thing" will be destroyed if
chiropractors make wellness only a "spinal thing."

A powerful wellness thing would be chiropractic focusing on stopping the
obstetricians' gruesome "spinal thing."

Todd

Dr. Gastaldo

PS1 Michael, I've written you before about ending the obstetricians'
gruesome "spinal thing"...

No response from you yet.

Here is my latest post to a member of the American Chiropractic Assocation
about ending the obstetricians' gruesome "spinal thing"...

Hopefully I'll get an official response from ACA eventually...

BABIES AND THE ELDER FALL PREVENTION ACT (Sen. Michael Enzi, R-Wyoming)

"...Sen. Michael Enzi (R-Wyo.) introduced the Elder Fall Prevention Act in
June 2003...[The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) Council on
Neurology] has developed fall prevention testing protocols that underscore,
as the bill does, the need to reduce falls in the elderly
population....Falls are the leading cause of injury deaths among individuals
older than age 65; twenty-five percent of elderly individuals who sustain a
hip fracture die within one year; and nearly 65,000 individuals older than
age 65 sustain a traumatic brain injury annually as the result of a fall...

"...For more information...contact Julie Bjornson, DC, secretary of the ACA
Council on Neurology, at 772-283-2417 or
.
http://www.chiroweb.com/archives/23/05/03.html

OPEN LETTER (archived for global access; see below)

Julie Bjornson, DC
Secretary
Council on Neurology
American Chiropractic Association

Julie,

The Great Birth Robbery...

As you know, OBs are routinely closing birth canals up to 30% and routinely
keeping birth canals closed when babies get stuck.

Lots of "alternative" delivery positions allow the birth canal to open the
"extra" up to 30%.

The Great Squat Robbery...

Squatting is one such delivery position - yet this culture robs its children
of their innate comfortable prolonged squatting ability.

Whereas elderly in other cultures can rise from a full squat well into old
age - at a relatively young age our elderly have difficulty even rising from
a chair.

British obstetrician Jason Gardosi, MD in effect blamed the The Great Birth
Robbery on The Great Squat Robbery.

See Two robberies: educators can stop them
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/3047

See also: The Great Squat Robbery and UCI's Harry B. Skinner, MD, PhD
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/3146

[I wonder if elderly in squatting cultures suffer fewer falls at the same
age our elderly are suffering falls.]

I am thinking that stopping The Great Birth Robbery might help stop The
Great Squat Robbery and thereby help reduce falls in the elderly - i.e. -
helping babies could help the elderly - though the results would not be seen
for years.

Even if stopping these bizarre culture-wide robberies did not help reduce
falls in the elderly, at least we would have helped babies and preserved for
children a fundamental human rest posture that doubles as a fundamental
human delivery posture that allows the birth canal to open the "extra" up to
30%.

Please submit this idea to the ACA Council on Neurology for formal action by
ACA.

Please also ask the ACA Council to forward this to Senator Enzi for his
consideration.

Thanks.

Sincerely,

Todd

Dr. Gastaldo

PS I recently asked the Club of Rome for help on this project but didn't
mention preventing falls in the elderly.

See Club of Rome: Pregnant? Disgusting stimuli at UCLA (research)
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/3202

END Dr. Gastaldo's latest post to a member of the American Chiropractic
Assocation about ending the obstetricians' gruesome "spinal thing"...

What if children in squatting cultures suffer less idiopathic adolescent
scoliosis. Anyone know?

Attention ACA (via Julie Bjornson, DC ):

Sorry to repeat myself but...

Thousands of times per day, OBs senselessly close birth canals up to 30% and
when babies get stuck OBs KEEP birth canals closed the "extra" up to 30%.

It is time to start work to stop the obstetricians' gruesome "spinal thing"
NOW - TODAY.

Each DC should pretend that it is HIS or HER skull about to be forced
through a birth canal senselessly closed up to 30%.

Each DC should pretend the OB has grasped HIS of HER skull with forceps and
is cranking on his or her cervical spine...

REMEMBER: With birth canals senselessly closed up to 30%, OBs sometimes
pull so hard with hands/forceps/vacuums that they rip spinal nerves out of
tiny spinal cords.

Some babies die - some babies get paralyzed - most "only" have their spines
gruesomely wrenched.

ALL spinal manipulation is gruesome with the birth canal closed up to 30%.

Why are chiropractic physicians - ostensible guardians of the spine -
silent?

As I said to Michael above...

Neither wellness nor chiropractic's "spinal thing" will be destroyed if
chiropractors make wellness only a "spinal thing."

I would like to see chiropractic focus on stopping the obstetricians'
gruesome "spinal thing."

A powerful wellness thing would be chiropractic focusing on stopping the
obstetricians' gruesome "spinal thing."

Thanks for reading.

Sincerely,

Todd

Dr. Gastaldo

PS2 Readers, I altered Michael's text a bit. I substituted "for
chiropractic's spinal thing" in brackets above. I hope I didn't change
Michael's meaning. Here is his original text:

"[i]f chiropractors make wellness only a spinal thing, the stakes and the
marketing costs will be extremely high...Scientific wellness implemented and
managed by chiropractors could be an enormous contribution to our nation,
and to the chiropractic profession, if chiropractors step up and do it
right. Making wellness a sales gimmick will only destroy it."
http://www.chiroweb.com/columnist/menke/index.html

CHIROPRACTIC IS AN "EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENTAL" THING...

Dr. DD Palmer's fundamental hypothesis of chiropractic is that all disease -
including the hypothetical disease perpetuator called "vertebral
subluxations" - is caused by EXTERNAL environmental irritants
(mech/chem/psychic).

Dr. Palmer was particularly interested in non-spinal adjustment of
non-spinal/noxious PSYCHIC/educational subluxations commonly known as LIES.

THE FOUR OB LIES

OB LIE #1. After MASSIVE change in the AP pelvic outlet diameter was
clinically demonstrated in 1911 and radiographically demonstrated in 1957,
the authors of Williams Obstetrics began erroneously claiming that pelvic
diamaters DON'T CHANGE at delivery.

OB LIE #2. After Ohlsen pointed out in 1973 that pelvic diameters DO
change - the authors of Williams Obstetrics began erroneously claiming that
their most frequent delivery position - dorsal - widens the outlet.

OB LIE #3. After I pointed out in 1992 that dorsal CLOSES - and so does
semisitting - the authors of Williams Obstetrics - put the correct
biomechanics in their 1993 edition - but kept in their text (in the same
paragraph!) - the dorsal widens bald lie that first called my attention to
their text...

OB LIE #4. OBs are actually KEEPING birth canals closed when babies get
stuck - and claiming they are doing everything to allow the birth canal open
maximally. (ACOG Shoulder Dystocia video - also forceps and vacuum births
are performed with the mother in lithotomy.)

See Make birth better: Dan Rather, before you leave CBS...
http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group...t/message/2983

I noted some of the OB lies in an Open Letter to the FTC years ago...
http://home1.gte.net/gastaldo/part2ftc.html

ETHICAL VIOLATION

MDs are violating AMA's Principles of Medical Ethics, failing to strive to
expose the OB fraud and deception, as in,

"[AMA physician[s] shall...strive to expose those physicians...who engage in
fraud or deception."

"[AMA p]hysician[s] shall...seek changes in those requirements which are
contrary to the best interests of the patient."

"[AMA p]hysician[s] shall...make relevant information available to patients,
colleagues, and the public..."
http://www.psych.org/psych_pract/eth...nions53101.cfm

CHIROPRACTORS are supposed to "make relevant information available to
patients, colleagues and the public."

Dr. DD Palmer said "Chiropractic came as an educator" in the same book in
which he NAMED chiropractic (in part) "the mental act of accumulating
knowledge." [1910:19]

MDs are still RESTRICTING chiropractic - the mental act of accumulating
knowledge. See The Four OB Lies above.

MDs are routinely closing birth canals up to 30% and routinely KEEPING birth
canals closed when babies get stuck.

MDs are gruesomely manipulating most babies' spines - sometimes pulling so
hard that spinal nerves are ripped out of tiny spinal cords.

Where are the chiropractic associations?!

Women should not have to ASK for the "extra" up to 30%!

Chiropractors should adjust - culture-wide - immediately.

The American Chiropractic Association should take the lead.

Again, thanks for reading.

Sincerely,

Todd

END Gastaldo's Open Letter to J. Michael Menke, DC...

Dr. Menke replied immediately:

"I shall look over your material."

It's been six days - no substantive reponse yet. There may be no
substantive response - there wasn't one when I wrote to Dr. Menke two years
ago...

I LIKE that Dr. Menke is working in the Department of Psychology at the
University of Arizona, as in,

Michael Menke
Health Research Associate
Evaluation Group for Analysis of Data
Department of Psychology
Program in Integrative Medicine
University of Arizona
1503 East University Boulevard
Tucson, AZ 85721
TEPP numbers:
520-318-7259 X122
Fax: 520-318-7252

Dr. Menke got his job at the University of Arizona because of Andrew Weil,
MD.

Dr. Weil reportedly told a chiropractic audience:

"I have been accused of writing and saying uncomplimentary things about
chiropractic in the past, so I thought at the outset I would introduce my
chiropractic colleague and friend, Dr. Michael Menke. Dr. Menke has been
responsible for my rehabilitation and education on chiropractic."
http://www.chiroweb.com/archives/21/09/29.html

MY 2003 EMAIL TO DR. MENKE...

I wrote Dr. Menke back in 2003 because Dr. Weil reportedly "challenged
chiropractors to look for subluxations beyond the spine - for cultural;
community; lifestyle; and spiritual subluxations that
could contribute to disease."
http://www.chiroweb.com/archives/21/09/29.html

See: http://groups-beta.google.com/group/...6ddc6e61e01859

Terry, just like Dr. Weil, Dr. DD Palmer, founder of our profession, also
challenged chiropractors to look for subluxations beyond the spine.

As DD did this, his son BJ was running around "throwing out" the sympathetic
nervous system (LOL!) and calling himself "the Developer" of the
chiropractic profession.

DD called BJ "the Enveloper" - yet I saw where you recently recommended that
the Discovery Channel do a special on BJ as the Developer...

Lionize BJ if you must - but it was DD who developed chiropractic and
offered the profession the route to a MAJOR development in chiropractic:
Non-spinal adjusting for prevention of subluxations before they start.

DD was right: BJ was subluxating the profession - enveloping it.

Which is why I was SO glad to see you mention birth and PREVENTING
SUBLUXATIONS BEFORE THEY START...

I think DD would have smiled.

I have literally been writing to you for years.

Again, if ACA doesn't take the lead - I hope WCA will do so.

Mysteriously, the chiropractic profession - ALL the chiro associations - WCA
to ACA to WFC - have been silent about this GOLDEN opportunity for DCs to
adjust to save tiny lives and tiny limbs and PREVENT more vertebral
subluxations than DCs will ever be able to charge to adjust by hand.

As Dr. Weil noted for chiros (in effect) - chiropractic is an EXTERNAL
ENVIRONMENTAL thing - and secondarily a spinal thing.

As you wrote Terry:

"[T]ry to discover and correct the *cause* of the
subluxations...The[y]...may have started at birth...

"[A]nything that prevents...[vertebral subluxations]...is rightfully within
the sphere of chiropractic..."

From Rondberg T. Stopping subluxations before they start. The Chiropractic
Journal. 2005(Jan):front page
http://www.worldchiropracticalliance...2005/jan/b.htm (Dr. Rondberg's
word *cause* was
italicized in original)

Silence is subluxation - it is time to adjust chiropractic's silence
subluxation.

Maybe you could do some investigative journalism and find out why the
California Board of Chiropractic Examiners is not responding regarding
whether California DCs can legally tell pregnant women that OBs are closing
birth canals...

Thanks Terry.

Sincerely,

Your friend,

Todd

REDUCE HEALTHCARE-RELATED ERRORS...

"The purpose of the [Florida Commission on Excellence in Health Care]...is
to facilitate development of a comprehensive statewide strategy for
improving health care delivery systems and reduce health care-related
errors..."
http://www.doh.state.fl.us/Mqa/FCHCE...ionLeg2001.htm

Attention Commission members (listed below):

One of your fellow Commission members - GREG HOLLSTROM, DC - is ignoring the
fact that OBs are routinely closing birth canals up to 30% and routinely
KEEPING birth canals closed when babies get stuck.

I sent Greg news of this massive healthcare-related error...

See Chiro wellness: Pregnant? Stop subluxations before they start!
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/...ffcf74d7d8b9b3

Greg wrote back: PLEASE REMOVE ME FROM YOUR MAILING LIST IMMEDIATELY.

Greg, you are off my list.

Commission members, at the very least, please inform pregnant women in your
circle of friends and family that OBs are routinely closing birth canals up
to 30% and that it is easy for them to allow their birth canals to OPEN the
"extra" up to 30%.

All women have to do to offer their babies the "extra" up to 30% is roll
onto their sides as they push their babies out - but they should beware -
some OBs let women "try" alternative delivery positions - then move them
back to semisitting/dorsal (close the birth canal the "extra" up to 30%) for
the actual delivery.

Also noteworthy: OBs are KEEPING birth canals closed the "extra" up to 30%
when babies get stuck - then pulling with hands, forceps or vacuums -
sometimes so hard they actually rip spinal nerves out of tiny spinal cords.

Some babies die - some get paralyzed - most "only" have they spines
gruesomely wrenched.

ALL spinal manipulation is gruesome with the birth canal closed the "extra"
up to 30%.

This is INSTANTLY PREVENTABLE medical error.

See again the post Greg ignored: Chiro wellness: Pregnant? Stop
subluxations before they start!

If you have any questions, feel free to email me.
