Toddler Speech question

mi son is 3and 1/2 we talk spanish at home but we moved to canada where
they talk english 3 months ago
he started day care 2 months ago and he isnot a big talker he do not
compose orations no even 2 words but he undertands everything and he
follow directions
do you think its normal he has no brothers or sisters

Bilingual children do typically start to talk later than single language
children. However 3 1/2 does sound late even for that. As he understands
there is every chance that he will pick up language at some point, but may
need help. I would speak to your doctor and get him assessed. He may just
need a little encouragement.
About how many words would you say he has?
