my son has a son, which he and the mother is not married, he paid child
support and she stopped it, he paids child care, buys for the baby and
gives her money, yet this was not enough, so she went and file child
abandment on him. what can he do at this point. we have the baby on
weekends and since she filed, she lies about letting us see him, by
saying she is going out of town. what and how can we stop this in its
tracks. she is trying to swing us around. we love the baby and she is
yo yo us, we want joint custody

Then you have to file a motion in court. You, as the grandparent, have no
standing. Your son, as the father, does. He needs to file.

what part am i not making clear.. i am only asking how can one file
joint custody or what are the steps.

get a alwyer and file asap

get a lawyer and file prt to determine paternity and establish custody
rights asap
