View Full Version : Eductional Toys - Discovery Toys benefits

March 12th 05, 09:59 PM
At the risk of sounding like a commercial, I wanted to share my
experience with Discovery Toys because I wish I had learned about them
earlier. Since I have met quite a few moms who feel the same way I
thought I'd post (okay, plug too).

My kids got a few Discovery Toys as gifts and they are honestly the
most played with toys in our home (Castle Marbleworks is such a hit for
the under 7 crowd!). Although I would have never thought I'd be
involved with a 'party plan' business, I ended up asking a few
questions about the business. After starting a home business that
ended up being much more time and money consuming than I had expected,
I decided to give Discovery Toys a try. It has been so flexible (I
really do make my own schedule)and its given me the opportunity to
challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone and be more outgoing.
I've met great people, and really feel wonderful about what I've
accomplished.

Perhaps the coolest thing I've gotten from DT is the knowledge of how
to better play with my children. Sure we have tons of toys (since I
get to buy them at a discount!), but I've learned so much about how
children learn and the experiences that help them learn best that I'm a
better mom to my 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 year olds. I couldn't figure out why
sometimes playing with them felt like a chore. Now that I have the
skills and tools, I sometimes feel like I'm having even more fun than
they are!

If any of this sounds like something you'd like to learn more about,
please contact me for a **no obligation** information packet. And if
you haven't ever seen Discovery Toys, please let me send you a free
catalog. You can also see some information online at

Hi --

Although I don't really approve of commercial plugs on this group, I've
got to admit that Discovery Toys are terrific. If you can find someone
local who sells them, you can see and play with them before you buy.
Their marble game (where you make a 3D path for your marbles to run
down) is sturdier than most similar toys on the market, and I think was
the first one such for sale. We've had great success with several
others as well, although my kids are old enough now that I only remember
what the toys looked like, not what they're called.

Do find a local person who's selling the things.
